I have found that one of the best way to keep up with missionaries on the field is via their blogs.
Here are two examples of Missionary blogs I regularly read.
Joe Holman Live from Bolivia
He just wrote a great post about the locals driving with their headlights off “to save the battery”
He talks about what charges our battery…
But, we want to save our battery. And even though real fellowship will charge us, we think that it will drain us. We have to work late, go to soccer practice, dance recitals, and children’s events. We have to do errands, clean the house, and watch TV. We really don’t have the time to invest in fellowship…that takes a lot of effort and we need to save our energy for. . . . . driving without a light.

Paul posted two pictures of sights that only occur “In Kenya”

I have also been closely following his blog as he has been sharing about the politics in Kenya. Talk about being “on the ground”
I’m thankful for blogging because it allows me to keep up to date on what is happening around the world. Thanks Paul and Joe for writing, I’ll be reading and praying for you guys.

Hey Ethan!
It is great to hear from you! Thanks for the comment and the plug. I just signed up to be a friend on facebook. Can you send me your current email address? I have received all of my e-newsletters back cuz I have a bad address.
In Jesus!
